Buying Process

Buying Process

Never purchased car from auction in japan? Here’s a quick guide to how the buying process works….

Step 1: Register for auction access

Visit our Auction database at to get an idea of the cars that are available, their condition and features.

Step 2: Pay deposit

So we can begin to search for your vehicle, we request a JPY100,000 deposit. This deposit is standard for any export company in Japan. For payment information, please contact us.

Step 3: Let us find a car that meets your needs

Through our auction system, we will notify you when a car meets your needs, so it’s best to make your requirements as specific as possible. These include:

  • Make & Model
  • Production Year
  • Colour
  • Mileage
  • Features
  • Auction Grade
  • Budget ($)

Sometimes there can be less than 24 hours notice between when a car is listed and the auction time! If you are interested in an auction vehicle, please let us know ASAP, so we can inspect the vehicle and and submit a bid on your behalf.

Step 4: Payment & Paperwork

Once a vehicle has been successfully purchased at auction, the car must be paid for within 48 hours of the auction ending. Please visit our Trading Terms page for more details.

Our team will then prepare the car for shipping, including any documents required for importation to your country. Please note that it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the vehicle can be imported to their home country.
